We're super excited to tell you that one of Toronto`s (honestly we think Canada's) best vintage vendors has just signed on to do the show (we've been trying to get them to come to Ottawa for forever)! Dear Hazel May consistently finds the most amazing vintage garments, accessories and jewelry. Have a look at the pictures below to give you an idea of the type of clothing that they will be bringing to the show...
Fabulous find! During a recent buying trip, Downtown Underground Street Boutique discovered a number or wonderful, original parkas from Canada's north dating from 1950-1970.
Handbags? Yes please. We're ecstatic to announce that Luxe Touch is participating in the show. Owner Cyndee Lavoie is one of Canada's foremost experts and will have a super selection of Chanel and Louis Vuitton handbags. Accessories from Tiffany, Hermes, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Burberry. Clothing from designers such as Chanel, Valentino, Dior, Wayne Clark, Adolfo, Rena Rowan, Rena Lange, Yves St. Laurent, Sonia Rykiel, Dolce & Gabbana and St. John. There will also be a rack of April Cornell dresses.
The Fashion History Museum is coming! And yes we are excited. The Museum gets many, many amazing vintage garments donated to them - but there is only so much exhibit space. The garments and accessories that are not destined to become part of the Museum's inventory - are destined to become part of some lucky person's wardrobe! The Fashion History Museum periodically sells off this excess inventory - and they have chosen this show to do it at - don't miss it!
In his capacity as host of television's Extreme Collectors Andrew Zegers traveled across North America - a lot! His company, Zegers Design seeks out the finest (repeat: finest) in original and authentic vintage fashion. Andrew tells us that he has never had a better selection of fabulous ladies coats (over 50 dating from the 1950's-1970's) and will be bringing them all to the show! Also look for designer mens shoes & sport jackets, handbags, wallets, sunglasses, & accessories in his booth.
We just love having Ian and Marla from the Ian Drummond Collection at the show! They are suppliers for television and movie wardrobes, super knowledgeable and (as you can see below) have one of the largest inventories of vintage fashion in North America!
